**The Role**
**About our Team**
The Materiel Inventory Officer position sits within the Reporting and Systems team which is a component of the EMB Program Management Office (PMO). The team is responsible for providing a central cataloguing function to ensure standards are maintained throughout the inventory management systems utilised by staff using and maintaining Explosive Ordnance (EO).
The team also is responsible for Logistics System Local Site Administration, ensuring EMB meets its legislative obligations in terms of the management and accountability of EO through regular and programmed stocktakes, provision for obsolescence and disposals. Lastly, the team is responsible for ensuring the quality of data in Defence Logistics Systems is consistent.
- Well developed organisation skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- An ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats especially in preparing responses to correspondence.
- Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with team members and key stakeholders to achieve desired results.
