**The Role**
You will join a dynamic Enterprise, working collaboratively in an integrated Military/APS workforce with Industry Partners and Air Force, to directly support and deliver vital Defence capability in support of Australia’s national interests.
The role of the APS 6 Export & International Agreements Manager within the MQ-28 Project Office (MQ-28 PO) is to lead and manage the delivery of Export control arrangements in support of the developmental MQ-28 aircraft and supporting systems.
The APS 6 Exports & International Agreement Manager will:
- Manage and oversee delivery of all export control related activities to support the MQ-28 platform; encompassing Australian export control process and requirements, and International laws and regulations
- Provide contemporary expertise and strategic advice to internal and external stakeholders for export related matters
- Lead export-related enhancement initiatives through collaboration with applicable stakeholders
- Manage a small team of export specialists
- Ensure delivery of compliant and efficient export transactions and management
- Develop and present learning material for MQ-28 PO team members to facilitate awareness and compliance with export requirements and Defence policy
- Manage key stakeholder relationships in a complex and dynamic environment
The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace.
**About our Team**
The APS 6 Exports & International Agreements Manager is a key position within the MQ-28 Commercial team and wider MQ-28 Project Office. This team directly contributes to the effective and efficient development and management of contemporary commercial arrangements that deliver the capability requirements sought by Air Force, and ensure value for money for the Commonwealth. Operating in an environment of best practice to facilitate compliance with legislation and Defence policy, the Commercial team comprises highly dedicated and experienced individuals who come together to achieve high quality commercial outcomes for MQ-28.
The MQ-28 Project Office has office locations in RAAF Base Amberley and Brisbane.
Your high level of communication and engagement skills will be applied to undertake Australian and International Export related duties, including engaging with Industry Partners and Commonwealth entities and stakeholders.
You will have attributes that allow you to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs or priorities, and to influence those outside of direct area of control with a focus on developing solutions in a practical manner.

- Be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an NV1 level security clearance
