**The Role**
The APS 4 Logistics Assurance Officer role, works within a small team, supporting the APS5 Logistics Assurance Officer by overseeing and undertaking stocktaking assurance and Logistics compliance for activities undertaken by Commonwealth and Industry Partners across all JLU - SQ sites. The APS 4 Logistics Assurance Officer will ensure these organisations operate in a legal and ethical manner while meeting JLU - SQ business goals. The APS 4 Logistics Assurance Officer focus is on delivering developing compliance programs, reviewing stocktake progress and advising stakeholders on risks. The APS 4 Logistics Assurance Officer will also respond to policy violations and will assist in internal and external inventory audits, as well as undertake investigations to assure that all adjustments to the Defence logistics systems are conducted in accordance with policy and processes. The APS 4 Logistics Assurance Officer position will hold and exercise delegations and will provide oversight of Commonwealth and Industry Partner activities.

The JLU - SQ primary site is within RAAF Base Amberley with satellite sites at, Meeandah, Wallangarra, Oakey and Enoggera.
