Now is an exciting time to join Aerospace Explosive Ordnance Systems Program Office (AEOSPO) in Explosive Material Branch (EMB) at the Department of Defence. As part of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team, you will work on some of the most exciting and complex projects in Australia to introduce sophisticated technology to various products and projects.

APS 6 - ILS Manager (Penrith NSW)
Reporting to the Product Manager and under broad direction, you will oversee a small and dynamic team to perform and achieve a complex range of logistics management activities

APS 5 - ILS Officer (Amberley QLD)
Reporting to the ILS Manager and under limited direction, you will perform and achieve complex range of logistics management activities.

Every day will be different as you embrace opportunities to:

- identify and develop the Operational Concept and Logistics Support Concepts;
- develop and implement ILS Plans to acquire and introduce Explosive Ordnance in to service.
- think strategically to develop, implement and manage improvements to ILS processes; and
- collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

EMB is a group of approximately 560 dedicated employees working across engineering, project management, commercial, logistics and corporate enabling services. Our mission is acquiring and sustaining guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) across the life-cycle phases: requirements setting; contracting; procurement; international logistics; domestic manufacturing; item management and maintenance, and co-ordination of disposal activities. EMB partners with domestic and international industry to deliver materiel capability to Defence, managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of complex, high-profile acquisitions and sustainment activities to support the ADF.

The Aerospace Explosive Ordnance Systems Program Office (AEOSPO) is a dynamic and diverse team within EMB, responsible for the acquisition, sustainment and maintenance of aerospace related explosive ordnance for the ADF.
