Administration Support Officer

The role This role combines administration support across the branch of Office of Research and Innovation and manages correspondence. You will provide, develop and maintain an efficient, effective and confidential administrative and correspondence support to the Directors and Branch, by managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure accurate, timely and relevant information is provided.
The System Planning Branch is currently being expanded to support research across the Hospital and Health Services and action a new research strategy. In this position, you will supported by a team of supportive administration officers who have backfilled the role at various times and the ESO to the Executive Director. This is a unique chance to potentially build new skills with a chance of extension.
**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:
- high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- high standard and experience of administrative support skills including administrative processes and reporting requirements, and information systems relevant to the business.
- ability to self-motivate and work cooperatively, effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
- ability to work autonomously and utilise discretion in the absence of decision makers.
- ability to deliver work of a high quality, validity and accuracy in a timely way.
- experience in managing large volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence, including proof reading, editing and formatting.
