
General Administration Officer

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week with potential to increase to full-time in the future)

The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and organised General Administration Officer to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our office and supporting the wider team in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Answering and directing phone calls with professionalism and empathy
- Managing filing systems (electronic and physical) to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assisting with scheduling and booking meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes where required
- Providing general administrative support to staff and management
- Maintaining office supplies and supporting the coordination of daily office operations
- Assisting with data entry, correspondence, and documentation related to disability support services
To succeed in this role, you will be someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident in managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable, and professional, with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite (preferred but not essential) and general computer systems
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- An enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Understanding of the disability support sector or community services (preferred but not essential)
- Experience using client management systems or scheduling tools (desirable)
- Completion of the NDIS Modules (free)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow card)
- CPR/First Aid, and
- National Police Check
