Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week with potential to increase to full-time in the future)

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised General Administration Officer to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our office and supporting the wider team in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering and directing phone calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Managing filing systems (electronic and physical) to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assisting with scheduling and booking meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes where required
  • Providing general administrative support to staff and management
  • Maintaining office supplies and supporting the coordination of daily office operations
  • Assisting with data entry, correspondence, and documentation related to disability support services
About You

To succeed in this role, you will be someone who is:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident in managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional, with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite (preferred but not essential) and general computer systems
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • An enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Understanding of the disability support sector or community services (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience using client management systems or scheduling tools (desirable)
Qualifications Required (or willing to obtain before starting)
  • Completion of the NDIS Modules (free)
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow card)
  • CPR/First Aid, and
  • National Police Check
