**A Day in The Life
**As a Territory Manager you will work closely with the team and continue to achieve territory sales revenue and growth targets for Medtronic ENT in Adelaide, South Australia and Northern Territories (travel to NT will be once a Qtr). You will support these regions by building strong and connected relationships with established stakeholders and increasing our market share in Medtronic ENT products and services to key customers and accounts. This support will be 60% actively in hospital theatres and 40% in a sales capacity so you will need to be highly organised and flexible in your approach to work. You will drive Medtronic ENT sales, business development and marketing strategies and provide guidance to the clinical team and work with them to develop an educational plan for the territory. You will practice professional and effective territory management in terms of organization, administration, inventory management and expense planning and control.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide surgical coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting as required - this may be after hours although mínimal
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders across all sections of the hospital structure.
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
- Develop and implement sales call and account plans for the Central Coast/Hunter region as part of the national strategy.
- Provide meaningful forecast and funnel opportunity reports to the Regional Sales Manager. Actively utilize sales force effectiveness (SFE) processes for activity management and forecasting.
- Ensure the highest level of expertise is attained and maintained by developing and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge. Understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products.
- Ensure customers and prospective customers are technically competent through on-site training, support and other educational events.
- Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Product and Sales management
- Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

**Must Have**:

- Requires broad knowledge of sales techniques typically gained through education and / or on the job learning.
- Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, nursing, science or similar qualifications.
