With the recent acquisition of Organic Crop Protectants Pty Ltd by DuluxGroup (Yates) and our desire to expand our presence throughout Australia, OCP requires an experienced Area Manager to service Horticultural and Viticultural enterprises in Southern Australia and the Sunraysia regions.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with new product market development, grower advice and sales of existing products.

We will be eager to hear from strongly grower focused sales agronomist or people with experience providing technical advice to growers in the area of pest and disease control and/or nutrition. A key aspect of this role will be to create sales for our products using your technical knowledge to create value for growers and our customers.
Working from home and travelling to service the region. Company car, phone and computer supplied.

**About the role**
As a Territory Sales Manager for OCP / Biohort in South Australia and Sunraysia. You will work within our premium Agronomy business, and assist farmers, agronomists and rural merchant customers with grower advice and sales of our existing products as well as new product development, this key role promises to be both challenging and rewarding.
**Responsibilities**
- Predominately be out on road, visiting approximately seven customers daily to influence buying habits and upsell premium brands
- Spend approximately half a day/week off the road, planning for the days ahead, booking sales meetings and diligently developing individual gap plans for key growth potential customers
- Providing innovative solutions, establishing and maintaining influential relationships across your territory
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and new business prospects to achieve your personal sales targets
- Develop knowledge of company products so that you can provide training to Wholesalers/Distributors as appropriate
- Manage the CRM program (Sales Force), process adherence and the resolution of client problems, complaints as required

**Skills & Experience**
- Understanding of Integrated Pest & Disease management practices
- Horticultural crop knowledge, preferably almond, grape, citrus or stone fruits
- Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Horticulture or Natural Sciences
- Strong organizational and sales skills
- Experience in strategic planning, business and project management
- Excellent inter-personal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills
- Enjoyment of being out in the field, meeting and growing stakeholder relationships
