**About the role**
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing administration and assistance to ensure the efficient service delivery of the Cancer Counselling Service.
This role is a Permanent role, working Full-time 37.5 hours across 5 days based in Cancer Council Queensland’s Brisbane Office.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. You will also have strong organisational and time management skills.
**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Essential_
- Minimum two years’ experience of working in a similar administrative role
- Certificate III in Business (administration or equivalent) or equivalent experience
- Desirable_
- High level of communication skills and experience in working with people in stressful situations is preferable
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with a range of stakeholders, including people affected by cancer, health professionals and senior managers
**Technical Skills and Abilities**
- Essential_
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written communication skills and telephone skills
- Highly developed computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Advanced knowledge of administration and office procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate a high level of independence, initiative and the ability to be self-motivated
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
