Providing an excellent opportunity to help shape the Energy Transition, this role predominantly supports the Chief Technology Officer along with senior leaders within the Technology business unit.

As AGL lead the transition to a future of sustainable energy, you will be joining us during a period of exciting change in an integral role offering diversity and challenging work tasks and real career opportunity.

What you’ll be doing:
In your new role of Personal/Executive Assistant, you will be foundational to enabling the CTO and leaders you support to be fully effective in their strategic, leadership and management responsibilities.

Ensuring a smooth, efficient, and organised environment through engagement and proactive thinking, you will perform a range of support services that facilitate the effective planning, executive leadership, and management duties.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Manage diary and inbox by reviewing all items, actioning, delegating, marking for follow up, filing or drawing attention to urgent/business critical items.- Action promptly and comprehensively all enquiries and correspondence, prioritising where necessary, referring as appropriate and personally dealing, where possible.- Prepare agendas, minutes and actions (where appropriate), for circulation of information to participants (pre and post meetings).-
- Collations of expenses, raising purchase orders and processing invoices.- Co-ordinate logistics of meetings, functions and events ranging from team meetings to conferences, road-shows and presentations (both on and off-site location), including venues and planning, travel and accommodation.- Working with the internal EA/PA network to proactively prioritise calendars and schedule meetings, appointments and domestic travel.- Extensive use of MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Office Suite and various technology platforms.

About You

As an energetic Personal Assistant, you will thrive on feeling connected to and being engaged with your stakeholders and will demonstrate passion and commitment towards your work. Your prompt and courteous communication style will ensure the smooth and effective administration of the Technology business unit.

You can naturally build rapport, confidently engage with people at all levels across the organisation and positively contribute to a collaborative Community of Practice with the broader internal PA/EA network.

With experience excelling in a similar role supporting executive leaders within a large and complex organisation, you will have high level business acumen and awareness of confidentiality in the workplace, be able to work autonomously and balance multiple priorities to deliver successful outcomes.
