About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our team at the Arthur Rylah Institute. As a key member of our Business Services team, you will provide administrative and business support to our scientists, technical officers, and colleagues across the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality front of house and reception services onsite at ARI.
  • Deliver business support tasks, including event support, secretariat function, and ad hoc projects.
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to enhance client satisfaction and resolve issues constructively.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to support business operations.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging existing systems to enhance work quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a front of house/executive assistant or administrative role.
  • Foundational knowledge in business acumen to understand how back-office policies impact unit operations.
  • Applied skills in stakeholder management to enhance client satisfaction and resolve issues constructively.
  • Digital literacy to guide others in using relevant digital tools and understand their impact on daily operations.
