About the Role

The Senior Operations Coordinator will be responsible for leading and managing key operational areas within our underground mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an extensive Raiseboring program
  • Manage the Mine Control Team (Pitram)
  • Coordinate contractor onboarding processes
  • Ensure compliance with explosives legislation and manage the explosives magazine
  • Drive safety performance for the Operations Team, including raisebore operations
  • Deliver operational improvement projects
  • Ensure the mine control team effectively collects and utilizes data to support mining operations

About You

This role is suited to an experienced engineer or mining supervisor/coordinator with strong practical/operational experience, including formal or informal leadership.

Requirements:

  • Ability to plan projects from the concept/design stage through to delivery
  • Ability to coordinate and provide leadership to contractors and personnel
  • Unwavering commitment to safety, ability to conduct and implement risk assessments
  • Keen eye for compliance, ability to interpret and implement legislation
