Strategic Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Professional to join our Individual Insurance Distribution function as a Business Development Consultant (BDC) in North Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with the Head of Distribution and Strategic Account Managers on licensee engagement and execution of account plans.
- Plan and adhere to an 'Ideal week' in executing adviser interactions aligning to the Individual Life Insurance strategy.
- Complete fact finds for all advisers where you lead and build appropriate engagement plans based on adviser needs.
- Drive collaboration and partnering with internal stakeholders across MLC Life to ensure consistency of adviser experience.
- Build the profile of MLC Life Insurance within your network of relationships.
- Adhere to CRM data input and quality management standards.
- Proactively manage ongoing professional development and enterprise mandatory training.
- You have experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Life Insurance, and a strong understanding of advice processes.
- You are a natural communicator with highly developed verbal, written, presentation, and influencing skills.
- You have demonstrated experience building rapport and pride yourself on providing exceptional service to clients.
- You meet minimum RG 146 compliance and hold an LOA. Higher education standards beyond a DFP, such as ADF or a bachelor's degree in financial planning, are highly desirable.
