We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at Data#3 Ltd.

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to drive sales growth in our diverse customer base in Sydney by taking our outstanding consulting services portfolio to market. You will work closely with Practice Managers, Consultants, and the Data#3 sales team to expand business opportunities and identify new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop state-specific sales strategies to increase our direct consulting services portfolio.
  • MATCH OUR STRATEGIC CONSULTING SERVICES TO CUSTOMER NEEDS.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales pipelines and business forecasts for agreed accounts.
  • Assist with proposal development and submission, demonstrating sound commercial acumen and judgment.
  • Develop and maintain deep, trusted executive relationships in key accounts within the nominated territory.
  • Develop and execute key account plans for both acquisition and growth customers.
  • Maintain customer opportunities and interactions within our CRM following standard practices and procedures.
  • Develop compelling customer value propositions and integrated solutions through our Practice offerings.
  • Position us strategically in the marketplace, maximising all potential business opportunities while differentiating us from the competition.
  • Achieve revenue and management profit targets through direct business development supported by our Practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A mature and proactive approach to helping shape and deliver successful customer outcomes.
  • Proven extensive business development experience in medium-to-large consulting organisations achieving revenue and profit targets.
  • Experience in account planning and execution for both acquisition and growth accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing high-level (CxO) relationships.
  • Experience in proposal development, submission, and quality assurance.
  • Experience in interpreting P&Ls, Balance Sheets, and financial reports.
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends and industry dynamics.
  • Experience presenting or facilitating presentations to senior stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience leveraging industry contacts and engaging senior stakeholders to develop new business opportunities for large corporate and enterprise level customers.
