The Hotel Ambassador is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Located in the heart of Sydney's Central Business District, Hyatt Regency Sydney is a premium hotel that boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences, and event spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and transportation as required, providing information about hotel services and facilities.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all hotel outlets, concessions, local facilities, and transportation services.
  • Coordinate and be aware of general arrival and departure patterns, ensuring a smooth flow of guests throughout the day.
  • Ensure the driveway is free of congestion and maintain the cleanliness of all work areas, including the lobby, public areas, and back of house storage areas.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be flexible and willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Have a basic knowledge of the city and its attractions, including shopping and entertainment venues, sporting and recreational facilities, and transportation systems.
