Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Executive Events Coordinator, supporting the coordination and delivery of internal and external events for the Curriculum Impact Portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing quotes and liaising with caterers, suppliers, and equipment providers to deliver exceptional events experiences
  • Coordinating venue bookings and ensuring adherence to internal Flinders University event policies
  • Supporting the development of event plans and supporting documentation, including run sheets, guest lists, invitations, and speech notes/scripts
  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and innovative team culture
Requirements
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience in contributing to reports, presenting information, and engaging with stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting events with a specific focus on service delivery for multiple clients, and how to achieve required objectives in line with scope of event outcomes
