Job Description

The Residential Life Supervisor (RLS) plays a key role in promoting and advocating for residential wellbeing at the forefront of our business operations. This position provides leadership and support in the management and development of the Residential Life and Wellbeing Program, focusing on resident wellbeing and ensuring the delivery of the program.

This permanent full-time position requires someone with a 'hands-on approach' who is energetic, creative, self-motivated, and focused on delivering a memorable student resident experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional service to all residents, staff, university departments, visitors, suppliers, contractors, and associated organizations;
  • Establishing and maintaining constructive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Recruiting, training, and being responsible for the Residential Advisor teams;

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in student accommodation, university services, or pastoral care. The ideal candidate will have strong customer focus, interest in student welfare, and enhancing the university experience. They will also have demonstrated understanding of the complexities of university life and operational aspects of residential living, as well as the ability to develop new ideas and engaging events, formulate plans to deliver them, manage events within budgets, and prioritize tasks effectively.
