Senior Assistant for Agricultural Events Coordination

Are you passionate about the food and wine industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW.
About the RoleThis role will provide hands-on assistance to our established Wine, Beer & Cider and Fine Food team in coordinating and executing various events, including the Sydney Royal Wine Show, Cheese & Dairy Show, and others.
- Collaborate with Senior Managers and Event Managers to facilitate administrative tasks and operational preparations for all Sydney Royal Shows.
- Contribute to planning and seamless execution of associated Show events, including luncheons, dinners, and public tastings.
- Ensure timely updates on the Sydney Royal Wine, Dairy & Fine Food website.
- Efficiently handle travel and accommodation arrangements for Show Officials.
- Provide support for Exhibitor, Council, and Committee needs to guarantee smooth operational flow.
- Maintain organized procedures for completed tasks and event timelines.
We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, creative flair, and strong organizational skills. Previous experience in administration is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Your tertiary qualifications in the wine and food industries would be advantageous.
You should possess sound planning, problem-solving, and coordinating skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Momentus or equivalent event management system is highly desirable.
