Senior Lifestyle Coordinator Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Senior Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents by designing and implementing engaging lifestyle programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About the Role
  • Job Title: Aged Care Resident Wellbeing Program Coordinator
  • Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and volunteers to create a welcoming and inclusive community environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and lead innovative lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of residents
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate lifestyle activities with residents' care plans
  3. Develop and implement event planning strategies to enhance the resident experience
  4. Foster a sense of community by promoting resident participation and engagement in lifestyle activities
  5. Manage and maintain accurate records of program planning, delivery, and evaluation
  6. Work closely with volunteers to enhance the resident experience and provide support as needed
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification
  • 12 months' experience in a similar role in aged care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs and priorities
