Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Garden Operations Manager to join our team in Kensington. This permanent full-time position offers 38 hours of work per week.

The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary, dependent on experience, plus tools of the trade.

About the Role

This pivotal role ensures the successful execution of garden maintenance contracts. You will oversee all aspects of site operations, including scheduling, resource management, client communication, and team leadership.

  • Lead and Supervise a Team: Provide guidance and support to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintenance Planning: Plan and schedule activities such as planting, pruning, hedging, fertilizing, and pest control, following client specifications and seasonal requirements.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct site assessments to identify maintenance needs, develop work plans, and estimate resource requirements.
  • Client Communication: Coordinate with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide recommendations for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and health of their gardens.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring availability and proper maintenance to support operational activities.
  • Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

About You
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Valid White Card.
  • Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
