Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon as a Strategic Partnership Development Manager, working closely with the Project Kuiper team to drive commercial success through strategic partnerships.

Project Kuiper is an ambitious initiative aiming to increase global broadband access by launching a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). This mission seeks to bridge the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to underserved communities worldwide.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and develop deal structures, business terms, guidelines, and metrics that impact customer outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader in commercial strategy and deal development, partnering in the execution of strategic commercial opportunities.
  • Provide insights into deal economics and pricing strategies to optimize negotiations for customers and the business.
  • Foster alignment and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and encourage productive interactions.
  • Cultivate best practices through analysis and reporting to support continuous improvements.
  • Owning and managing term sheets and definitive agreements to streamline the deal cycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • Experience in a professional field or military with expertise in financial modeling for commercial pricing terms.
  • Demonstrated success in working with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, and legal stakeholders on sizeable commercial/enterprise deals.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic shifts in product offering, service plans, and pricing to enable business growth.
About the Team

This role may require access to information, technology, or hardware subject to export control laws and regulations. Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining necessary export licenses or approvals from the United States government.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
