Program Safety Coordinator – University of Sydney

This is a pivotal role where you'll serve as a safety advisor for multiple projects, ensuring the University's initiatives meet all quality, WHS, and environmental standards.

You'll be positioned within the Risk Services team, assessing work practices, conducting on-site safety assurance, and creating a safe environment for the University community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Safety Templates: Create and enforce safety templates to enhance safety governance across various work sites.
  • Safety Assessments: Conduct on-site safety assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Support Safety Governance: Assist in implementing strategies to drive continuous improvement and support program safety governance.
  • Review Safety Documentation: Review and provide guidance on permit approvals and related safety documentation.
  • Foster a Positive Safety Culture: Lead by example and foster a proactive safety culture through collaboration with teams.

The estimated salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 AUD per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. This is a highly rewarding role that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.
