Key Account Manager

Mimecast is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth in the Commercial and SMB customer segments through strategic partnerships.

This role is critical to influencing key partners that are essential to customers' buying decisions in these segments. The successful candidate will need to influence sales teams within key partners to understand why and how to position Mimecast to prospects, creating incremental revenue opportunities for the company.

Specific success metrics related to this role include:

  • Growth in overall revenue in the SMB segment via engagement with key partners
  • Growth in pipeline for Mimecast within core segments through engagement with assigned partners

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of channel dynamics and what motivates sales reps within them. They will be an outcomes-focused individual with a growth mindset, able to articulate the Mimecast value proposition to partner sales teams and drive change internally and externally.

The Key Account Manager will work closely with operational teams to ensure Mimecast becomes easier to do business with for partners, increasing their commitment to growth with the company. They will also effectively manage pipeline and keep opportunity data up-to-date on SFDC.
