Senior Case Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Case Manager to join our team at HOBAN Recruitment. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver case management services, undertaking complex case management activities, and resolving issues and risks while maintaining high standards of performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Manage a Team: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver case management services, ensuring timely and consistent resolution of external review applications.
- Undertake Complex Case Management Activities: You will undertake complex case management activities guided by legislation and policy, resolving issues and risks while maintaining high standards of performance.
- Provide Technical and Professional Advice: You will provide technical and professional advice on complex problems, participating in strategic planning and policy development for our client.
- Apply Alternate Dispute Resolution Methods: You will apply alternate dispute resolution methods in line with model litigant principles, attending Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings with the AAT.
- Maintain Accurate Electronic Records: You will maintain accurate electronic records to support decision-making processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in Case Management: You will need experience in case management, particularly with complex matters.
- Strong Decision-Making Skills: You will need strong decision-making skills, backed by evidence and a deep understanding of legislation.
- Ability to Engage with Vulnerable Participants: You will need the ability to engage with vulnerable participants and manage associated risks.
- Proficiency in Interpreting and Applying Policies: You will need proficiency in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the NDIS: Knowledge of the NDIS and supports for people with disability is highly desirable.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: You will need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to Achieving Goals: You will need a commitment to achieving both individual and team goals.
- Competitive Pay Rate: You will receive a competitive pay rate of $60.26 per hour, including casual loading.
- Superannuation: You will receive 5% superannuation to secure your future.
- ASAP Start Date: You will have an ASAP start date, pending clearances.
- Initial Assignment: You will be offered an initial up to 6-month assignment with the possibility of an extension, based on business requirements.
- Full-Time Position: You will be offered a full-time position, offering 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
