We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at CaSE International. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination and control of engineering works for designated projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and control engineering works to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the specified quality.
- Assist in ensuring the safe and successful completion of projects by monitoring and controlling sub-contractors' performance and quality of workmanship.
- Maintain and apply relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements to support responsible decisions and courses of action.
- Adhere to safety plans and communicate them to project team members, including suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Assist in resolving safety issues as directed by the Project Manager.
- Participate in the preparation of safe Work Method Statements in consultation with the work group.
- Lead construction method statements approvals and ensure subcontractors comply with CaSE's safety management system and procedures.
- Monitor implementation of construction methods, including audits, and help the Project Manager with operational aspects of project delivery.
- Ensure site-specific management plans are implemented and maintain and monitor the progress of work.
- Ensure construction-related aspects of the project meet or exceed required performance targets in relation to time, cost, and quality.
- Communicate the program to subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff to maintain commitment.
- Experience in civil engineering, particularly in bridges.
- Strong technical and engineering skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements.
