About the Role

A great opportunity has arisen to lead the programming of major capital works projects in a client-side capacity for a leading organisation. As a Senior Capital Projects Manager, you will be responsible for the development of project management documentation, driving Business Case development through to project delivery, and managing detailed project implementation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the programming of capital works projects, including the development of project management documentation.
  • Drive Business Case development through to project delivery, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Develop and manage detailed project implementation plans, including comprehensive risk analysis and stakeholder management activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and technical SMEs to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Over 10 years' industry experience, with at least 8 years in Project Planning/Programme Management within an organisation delivering Major Capital Works to a large, complex portfolio.
  • Excellent Project Planning skills, able to lead project documentation, drive Business Cases, and set and agree on proposed project timescales and costings.
  • Able to determine project risks, including internal, external, financial, time-sensitivity, or environmental.
  • An excellent communicator, with strong English language skills, providing clear and concise advice and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Innovative and able to deliver new solutions to challenges, ensuring suitable Quality, Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks are identified and established.
  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and advise on capital works, design, documentation, and construction.
  • Engaging personality and strong presentation skills, able to network and lead discussions at an executive level.
