Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, providing exceptional service and support
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and billing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Liaise with ATO and ASIC, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members, demonstrating excellent communication skills
  • Manage the firm's main email inbox, forwarding messages as required and ensuring prompt responses
  • Schedule appointments and manage conference room bookings, optimizing productivity and efficiency
  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information, providing solutions and support
  • Process client intake forms and update client databases, maintaining accurate records
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely delivery
  • Provide administrative support as needed, being proactive and flexible
About You
  • You will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual, capable of handling multiple tasks with efficiency and enthusiasm
  • Previous experience working within an accounting firm with ASIC and ATO experience is a crucial requirement for this role
  • Experience in a customer-facing role where providing exceptional service and support to clients is paramount
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently and professionally with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, managing various responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, managing inquiries, and handling administrative duties
  • Ability to handle client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, demonstrating resourcefulness and professionalism in finding solutions
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is up to $80k plus superannuation. Our boutique accounting firm offers a competitive salary package, including opportunities for career development and growth.
