Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service while fostering a collaborative working relationship between the Sales, Service, and Parts departments.
This role provides the unique advantage of representing trusted, globally recognised brands like Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and Fuso.
As a Sales Manager, you will drive market share by leveraging the strength of these renowned brands, helping to enhance both gross profit and sales volume.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coaching and guiding sales consultants to ensure performance of KPIs and sales activities are completed
- Leading and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements
- Acting as a trusted resource for resolving customer matters, ensuring prompt and effective solutions
- Managing end-to-end deliveries to ensure vehicles go out as scheduled and customers are kept informed
- Displaying a high level of safety leadership
- Participating in WHS committees, completing showroom inspections, and ensuring team members have the correct training

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. Key requirements include:
- Prior leadership experience in a sales-focused role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate presentations
- Experience with full P&L budgeting and forecasting processes
- Exhibiting a high degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build teams and set expectations to deliver desired outcomes and results
- Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft Office, customer relations management systems, and dealer management systems
- Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods
- Current unrestricted driver's license
