About the Role

Jensen Hughes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our consulting business through the day-to-day management and coaching of a quotation management team and inside sellers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define expectations around response time, follow-up on quotations, outbound calling, pipeline management, and revenue targets.
  • Actively utilize CRM/project management software to monitor pipeline and provide coaching to direct reports.
  • General understanding of accounts with open work and support the team on moving proposals through the pipeline and closing orders.
  • Customer service and post-project follow-up, identifying opportunities for renewal discussions.
  • Identify growth opportunities from existing clients/current projects and work with the team on a plan.
  • Qualify new leads, gather information needed to move to proposal, and develop sales opportunities.
  • Manage contract renewals for key clients/master agreements, supported by Operations/Administration.
  • Client/account research, reviewing past projects, notes, unique client items, history, and connecting with PM and Finance as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Approximately 10 years of sales experience, with 3 years in a sales management position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM software platforms preferred.
  • General knowledge and confidence using computer databases and menu-driven reports.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
