Sales and Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth and retention strategy for the region, including volume targets, margin setting, and strategic customer planning.
- Maintain a high level of customer-focused activity, prioritizing face-to-face interactions with key customers to drive business growth.
- Deliver market-leading service and support to high-value commercial customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Identify, develop, and commercialize new business opportunities, taking the lead in sales and business development efforts.
- Skilledly navigate customers through the sales process, utilizing negotiation and objection handling skills to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with local branch staff, fellow sales team members, and industry stakeholders to build a supportive network and drive business success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in our system, producing coherent reports that demonstrate knowledge and strategic planning for the region.
Requirements
- Demonstrated sales experience from any industry, with a strong desire to serve customers and drive business growth.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, possessing excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong personal presentation and ability to build trust with colleagues and customers.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to be out on the road serving customers.
- Passion for sales, motivation to deliver high levels of daily activity, and a strong desire to own and drive regional success.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Strong negotiation and objection handling skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales situations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
