Shaping Growing Communities as a Senior Planning Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support principals and directors in preparing comprehensive planning reports, conducting in-depth policy research, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and authorities.
  • Lead a team of junior planners and mentor them to develop their skills and expertise in strategic and statutory planning processes.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of planning legislation and schemes, and prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, and recommendations for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery and contribute to successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 3 years' industry experience is required, with a keen interest in statutory and strategic planning processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with WA planning frameworks is advantageous, along with attention to detail and strong research capabilities.
