Senior Town Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our planning consultancy. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for managing junior planners and supporting our directors in delivering high-quality strategic and statutory planning services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare planning approvals and submissions
  • Lead and mentor junior planners
  • Conduct research and analysis of planning legislation and schemes
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines are met
  • Contribute to project outcomes
  • Communicate with councils, state agencies, and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning
  • 3+ years of experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen interest in statutory and strategic planning processes
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects
  • Familiarity with WA planning frameworks is an advantage
  • High attention to detail and strong research capabilities
