Job Opportunity: Urban Hub Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Urban Hub Coordinator. This role involves supporting the development and promotion of a vibrant urban centre through various programs, projects, and initiatives.

This rewarding opportunity requires a passionate and proactive individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to increase visitation, investment, and economic growth in the urban hub.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in planning and delivering projects, programs, and events. Strong project management skills, knowledge of economic development and community engagement principles, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the activation and promotion of the urban hub through various programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement projects and events to increase visitation and investment in the urban hub.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and stakeholders to achieve economic growth and development objectives.
  • Support the implementation of strategic documents and plans related to the urban hub.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Current unrestricted "C" class driver's license.
  • Experience in planning and delivering projects, programs, and events.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of economic development and community engagement principles.
  • Knowledge of the local economy and issues facing small businesses.
  • Experience with administration and operational aspects of projects and events.
  • Skills in sponsorship and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and conflict resolution.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Analytical, research, and evaluation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
