**Urban Planning Project Manager Role**

This exciting career opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and organized Urban Planning Project Manager to take on a key leadership role in managing and delivering complex urban planning projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both statutory and strategic urban planning, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide expert advice and solutions for urban planning matters across various projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and deliver a range of urban planning projects with full ownership and accountability.
  2. Prepare and review planning reports, submissions, and presentations for key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
  3. Provide high-level guidance and oversight on project development and delivery.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, government authorities, and the community.
  5. Take full responsibility for managing projects from start to finish, including timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Town Planning, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of planning legal practice and the ability to apply planning laws effectively.
  • Highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in managing urban planning projects and delivering successful outcomes.
Desirable Skills:
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in urban planning, with a strong background in both statutory and strategic.
  • Post-graduate qualifications or membership with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
