About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Urban Planning Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to contribute to high-impact land use planning and policy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lead strategic land use planning projects, including growth strategies, precinct plans, employment and housing studies and supporting technical inputs.
  • Provide expert analysis and advice informed by current government policies, regional and local priorities and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communicate complex planning concepts clearly and persuasively through reports, presentations and public-facing documents.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.
Requirements
  • Holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Ideally minimum 3 years' experience within an Urban Planning role.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning, and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment.
  • Proficient appreciation and understanding of strategic policies, processes and influences.
