Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Sales Executive to join our team at Johnson Controls. This is a key role in driving business growth and expansion within the security systems installation sector.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and establish new business relationships with commercial security customers, key influencers, and designated vertical market targets.
  • Drive sales processes from initial contact through qualification, costing, quotation/pricing, negotiation, and closing of deals.
  • Consistently achieve budgeted monthly/quarterly/annual sales for secured bookings & margin.
  • Spend at least 70% of work time in the field prospecting, quoting, and closing new business.
  • Report weekly sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity through Salesforce.
  • Assist with preparation and response to complex tender responses and deliver quotes as required.
  • Target new accounts through tender responses and cold calling to maximize secured bookings and gross margin.
  • Ensure best-in-class customer service and assist with liaison and follow-up as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Australian security industry, including security sales experience.
  • Prior experience in sales and customer service within the security sector is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and current security license are mandatory.
  • Certifications in security solutions (e.g., Access Control, CCTV, Alarm) and MS Office Suite are highly desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft and Salesforce skills are necessary for success in this role.

  • Proven track record in developing business opportunities and delivering sales outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of security solutions and design process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Acting with urgency and consistently delivering excellent customer outcomes.
