Sales Support Specialist

Cummins Inc. is a leading manufacturer of diesel and natural gas engines.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Administrator to join our team in Australia. This role offers a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $85,000 AUD based on industry standards and location.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to support our customer-facing sales force through the rhythm of sales, lead to close. As a Sales Administrator, you will execute and support selected sales-related activities under limited supervision.
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide local sales support for sales teams & low kVA dealers, which entails order creation, advising stock availability, arranging movements of sets & invoicing.
- Support local project managers for project invoicing claims & processing of supplier purchase orders and invoices.
- Manage sales forecasts with sales teams.
- Order diaries and merchandise for sales teams and dealers.
- Manage dealer & sales team holds.
- Monthly finance report management and submission.
- Process supplier invoices.
- Prepare monthly sales commission claims.
- Submit new vendor requests where required.
- Assist in collating South Pacific invoicing data for quarterly forecast submission by finance.
- Provide weekly updates on invoicing data and movements for finance.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- SAP experience is required.
- Knowledge of Movex is an advantage.
- Action-oriented – taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Collaborates – building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Communicates effectively – developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

- Channel awareness – explaining and contextualizing industry structure, dynamics, and path to market to advance organizational goals.
- Sales forecasting – collecting and assessing customer data from internal and external sources; comparing against historical data to determine useful inputs and create a forecast of future consumption patterns.
- Values differences – recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a High School Diploma or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Qualifications:
This role requires some work experience and intermediate-level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
