Front Office Duty Manager
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Reception desk. Your primary focus will be on providing information on local attractions, amenities, and services to enhance the guest experience and managing guest issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Reception desk, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for owners and guests.
- Provide expert knowledge on local attractions, amenities, and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage guest issues and concerns, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
- Build, develop, train, and lead a team to promote high levels of customer service and achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Opera preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening.
- Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
- Immaculate presentation and grooming standards.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods.
