As a Front Office Duty Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Reception desk, providing excellent customer service, and building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Reception desk, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes for owners and guests.
  • Provide accurate information to local area attractions and answer guest inquiries.
  • Administer tasks, manage guest issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Build, develop, train, and lead a team to promote high levels of customer service.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level, either as a Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, or Duty Manager.
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Opera preferred.
  • Events experience highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening.
  • Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bookkeeping/finance experience highly regarded.
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods.
  • The capability to work in a fast-paced environment both as part of a team and autonomously.
