Duty Manager

As a Front Office Duty Manager at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Reception desk. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of unforgettable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reception desk, including greeting and registering guests, providing information on local attractions, and handling guest issues.
- Build, develop, train, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and promote a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a unified approach to guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems, preferably Opera.
- Events experience highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, written, verbal, and active listening skills.
- Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
- Bookkeeping/finance experience highly regarded.
- Immaculate presentation and grooming standards.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods.
- The capability to work in a fast-paced environment both as part of a team and autonomously.
