We are seeking a skilled Import Air Freight Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at our facility. As a key member of our team, you will oversee a 10–15-person team, managing high volumes of inbound freight and ensuring compliance with Customs and AQIS regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily KPIs and operational performance targets
  • Oversee receiving, putaway, and processing of air freight
  • Ensure accurate labour allocation to optimise efficiency and control costs
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff to maintain high standards and productivity
  • Manage compliance with Customs and AQIS regulations
  • Promote and enforce OH&S practices to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet client expectations
  • Monitor workflow and adjust resources to meet changing demands

About You:

  • You're a confident and proactive leader who thrives under pressure and keeps a cool head in a dynamic setting
  • Bring 2+ years' experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager role
  • Strong background in air freight or logistics environments
  • A current forklift licence and hands-on warehouse experience
  • Familiarity with bonded warehouse compliance and customs procedures
  • Proficiency in WMS and RF scanning systems
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A safety-first mindset and the ability to lead by example
