Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Import & Export Operations Coordinator (air and sea) to join their dynamic freight forwarding team. In this role, you will manage cargo movement from start to finish, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor cargo availability and status updates
  2. Coordinate deliveries and liaise with transport providers
  3. Communicate with airlines, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients
  4. Send pre-alerts and follow up on shipments
  5. Prepare and manage import/export documentation
  6. Lodge SCA and handle ICS entries
  7. Complete invoicing and filing tasks
  8. Assist with additional duties as required

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding operations, specifically in air and sea import/export
  • Working knowledge of CargoWise One and ICS (Integrated Cargo System)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Ability to manage tasks from start to finish accurately
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a collaborative team player
