Business Development Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Small Business Banking team, working towards becoming the leading business banking provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate customer interactions to understand their goals and needs, providing relevant solutions.
  • Originate commercial lending solutions, including asset finance and everyday banking services.
  • Engage customers to support their business and personal objectives, preparing for conversations with valuable insights.
  • Represent the organization within the local business community, promoting awareness of our business banking proposition.
Requirements:
  • Experience in commercial lending or B2B sales.
  • Home lending expertise.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement/management skills.
  • Excellent customer engagement skills.
  • Passion for Small Business customers or experience in managing a Small Business.
  • FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation.
  • Credit Approval Authority Level 2 or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal training in Home lending discussions.
