Job Summary

We are seeking a strong commercial lender to facilitate customer conversations, provide relevant solutions, and support business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer needs, providing timely solutions for commercial lending, asset finance, and everyday banking services.
  • Proactively engage customers to support their business and personal objectives, preparing for conversations with valuable insights.
  • Become a brand ambassador within the local business community, building awareness of our business banking proposition and hosting education events.
  • Regularly attend stakeholder meetings to build awareness of service offerings and work together to build referral partnerships and address service pain points.

Requirements:

  • Commercial lending or B2B sales experience.
  • Home lending knowledge.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement/management skills.
  • Excellent customer engagement skills (both face-to-face and non-face-to-face).
  • Experience in facilitating customer conversations, managing opportunity pipelines, and proactive customer contact.
  • Passion for Small Business customers or experience in managing a Small Business.
  • FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation.
  • Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willing to obtain this within 6 months.
  • Formal training to support Home lending discussions, including Cert IV in Banking Services qualifications (preferred).
