Senior Business Finance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our small business banking team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding the needs of entrepreneurs and providing tailored financial solutions.

  • Be part of a high-performing team and contribute to its success by delivering exceptional service to small business customers through understanding their requirements and assisting with end-to-end fulfilment.
  • Facilitate great customer conversations that help understand their goals and needs, and provide relevant and timely solutions.
  • Proactively engage customers to support their business and personal goals, preparing for conversations to provide valuable insights.

As a Commercial Lending Finance Specialist, you will be accountable for business development within your local community and will support retention of client relationships by providing premium service.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate a range of solutions for businesses, including commercial lending up to $1M, asset finance, merchant facilities, and everyday banking solutions.
  • Build awareness of our business banking proposition and host small business education events to support ongoing financial wellbeing.
  • Regular attendance to key stakeholder meetings to build awareness of Small Business service offering and proactively work together to build referral partnerships and deal with service pain points.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in commercial lending or B2B sales
  • Sound financial analysis skills and commercial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement/management skills
  • FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation
  • Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willingness to obtain this within 6 months
