**Branch Lending Specialist Role**

Elevate your career as a Branch Lending Specialist with Great Southern Bank, where you will form the first point of contact for customers and their retail banking and lending needs. Your key focus will be to support our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth: Build a business network and promote Great Southern Bank's products and services to increase our market share.
  • Customer Service: Work as a team with colleagues to serve existing customers, helping them with new lending and developing referral networks.
  • Home Loans: Manage and own home loans through to completion, grow your pipeline, and identify new opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership skills as a senior team member and subject-matter expert in the retail network.
  • Networking and Lead Generation: Foster strong relationships with the local community and promote the Great Southern Bank brand through regular strategic networking and business development activities.
  • Sales Performance: Meet service standards and performance targets in day-to-day operations.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong knowledge of Great Southern Bank's lending and ancillary products and adopt sales strategies aligned with the divisional business plan.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage lending and credit assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with all banking products.
  • Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and pursue leads through network activities.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with the ability to apply cross-selling techniques.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer and sales focus.
  • Ability to problem solve complex financial problems.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong connections with the team.
  • Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management.
