Housing Finance Specialist

About the Role

This permanent full-time position is based in our Epping Branch, where you will be responsible for managing home loan applications, building strong relationships with customers, and promoting Great Southern Bank's products and services to drive business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a highly experienced and successful lender, you will be expected to:

  • Manage home loan applications from initial consultation to completion, ensuring seamless customer experiences;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, understanding their financial goals and providing tailored solutions;
  • Promote Great Southern Bank's products and services to drive business growth and increase market share;
  • Work closely with your Branch Manager to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the divisional business plan;
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of Great Southern Bank's lending and ancillary products, staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Your Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in mortgage lending or credit assessment;
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with all banking products, including home loans and other related services;
  • Proven ability to network with key stakeholders, pursue leads, and obtain business through networking activities;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer and sales focus;
  • Able to problem-solve complex financial problems and work autonomously while maintaining strong connections with your team.

What We Offer
