Banquet Chef Position

A prime opportunity exists to take on the role of Banquet Chef. This position will report directly to the Head Banquet Chef.

Our state-of-the-art event centre is the largest venue in Southern Sydney, providing the perfect space for corporate or social functions.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing a cooking section in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist in creating and implementing innovative menu ideas that are both popular and appealing.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality meals.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained.
  • Adhere to WH&S compliance at all times.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A high level of personal morale and appearance.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to foster a cooperative working environment.
  • A current Food Handling Certificate.
  • Availability to work 7 days across a rotating roster.
  • Prior experience in large functions.
  • A tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience in a similar role with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
