Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to lead our Banquet kitchen operations. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food delivery for events and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Banquet kitchen to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Work closely with our team of professionals to prepare dishes that showcase beautiful produce and exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain consistency in catering and event culinary experiences for guests.
  • Promote a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and food cost control.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar leadership role within a luxury or high-volume event kitchen is essential.
  • A strong understanding of product knowledge, technical culinary skills, and commitment to quality is necessary.
  • Passion for crafting superb food and memorable event experiences is crucial.
  • A sound understanding of current kitchen trends and cuisines is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills are required.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP is mandatory.
