This role involves spearheading the development and nationwide implementation of a comprehensive Recall Policy and Clinical Risk Framework. It encompasses designing governance and escalation protocols, as well as overseeing the deployment of a centralized Recall Management System across all sites to ensure seamless alignment with safety, quality, and procurement strategies.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Recall Policy and Clinical Risk Framework at the national level.
- Oversee the nationwide rollout of a centralized Recall Management System across all sites.
- Serve as a clinical risk liaison across departments, providing expert advice on recalls and adverse events.
- Support hospitals in adopting the new system through training and education, while managing ongoing reporting and risk-informed lifecycle management.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with recalls in a clinical setting, showcasing expertise in handling complex situations.
- Intermediate knowledge of medical devices (consumables, implants, equipment), including regulatory compliance.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to determine severity and required actions for recall-related events.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizational change and system implementation within a healthcare environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across clinical and non-clinical domains.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
- Organized, driven, and solution-oriented, with the ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
